| name: |
Kinetic analysis of synthetic analogues of linear-epitope peptides of glycoprotein D of herpes simplex virus type 1 by surface plasmon resonance.
|
| description: |
The epitope-specific mAb A16 bound to a synthetic analog (LKXDPNRFRG, where X=norleucine) of the epitope by surface plasmon resonance. Further studies using truncated and substituted peptides demonstrate that the minimal sequence bound by the antibody is the sequence gD 11-17 (MADPNRF) and that position D13 is an essential residue while R16 and F17 are involved in structure stabilization.
