Prototyping an integrated data discovery index system for immunology research community
ImmuneData is a prototype immunological data index search engine. Its goal is to meet the needs of immunology research community for data sharing, knowledge dissemination, standard development and integrative analyses. In the future it will allow searching outside these boundaries. ImmuneData supports the NIH-endorsed FAIR principles of Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability of datasets with current functionality assisting in finding datasets and providing access information about them.
The five data repositories covered in this initial release have been selected by the NIAID Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation (DAIT) and represent only a small sample of immunological data resources. Other relevant datasets have not yet been indexed.
The translation of user queries into structured data used in the search is being expended base on NLP technologies. Advanced search allows users to build their own queries. Some ImmuneData search features are not yet available for all datasets. Please provide feedback about the quality of search results.
You can use the web interface and provide us feedback here about your search experience. This prototype is still under development and your valuable suggestions and comments will help us to improve the system.
