Although free peptide was not immunogenic, polymers of the peptide (prepared by linking to diaminoalkanes) and synthetic conjugates prepared by binding the peptide to liposomes or polylysine were immunogenic. Various conjugate preparations were tested, and peptides linked to LPH were most immunogenic.
