name:
Modified-live infectious bovine rhinotracheitis virus vaccine expressing monomer and dimer forms of foot-and-mouth disease capsid protein epitopes on surface of hybrid virus particles.
description:
Calves vaccinated with the recombinant IBRV-FMDV (dimer) virus generated antibodies to the VP1 epitopes. These animals were then challenged with virulent IBRV (Cooper) at 35 days post-immunization. Vaccinated calves were protected from clinical signs.
