Hepatitis C virus glycoproteins mediate pH-dependent cell entry of pseudotyped retroviral particles.
|
| description: |
The epitope sequence was deduced through study of maltose binding protein-E2 fusion proteins and overlapping peptides. These mAb inhibit the infectivity of HIV pseudotypes expressing the HCV E1 and E2 glycoproteins to the human hepatoma cell line Huh-7.5. mAb 2/69a is able to neutralize over 99% of the infectious particles, while 1/39 inhibits 20% at 10μg/ml. .
