The antigenic site for these 7 mAbs was previously defined in Holloway et al. J Gen Virol 1998;79:1619-1629. MAb 19F10 reactived with the virus in IFA. Examination of the deduced amino acid sequence of 4 strains in this work suggests that the epitope may be localized to residues 30-49.
