description:	Serum from cod allergic subjects reacted with the epitope in a direct skin test, a P-K (Prausnitz-Kustner) reaction, and in a RAST (radioallergosorbent test). The reaction to the epitope was weaker than that to peptide LT1N1, identical to the epitope except lacking the C-terminal Lys residue. The epitope was less active than allergen M.
