Correlation between conformation and antibody binding: NMR structure of cross-reactive peptides from T. cruzi, human and L. braziliensis.
|
| description: |
The structure of the epitope corresponding to the C-terminus from T. cruzi ribosomal protein was determined using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The authors found a correlation between peptide conformation and antibody binding which explained the observed cross-reactivity of antisera with ribosomal peptides from T. cruzi, human and L. braziliensis.
