Sera from rabbits immunized with Hev b 1 or with protein extract from latex sap from Thailand or Malaysia did not react with the epitope. The epitope was biotinylated at the N-terminus via a 6-aminohexanoicacid molecule and bound to streptavidin-coated ELISA plates.
