description:	This peptide is comprised of two epitopes (RHKQPLIAPAKQLL , aa 207-220, and ASARRGDLAHLAAAHARH, aa 148-165) derived from the VP1 protein of foot and mouth disease virus strain C₃ Indaial, Genbank accession no. 130447. The peptides are linked by the amino acid residues PPS and are synthesized with two amino-terminal cysteine residues and a carboxy-terminal PCG. Sera was collected 27 days post-vaccination. Both peptides contain homologous epitopes from different strains of FMDV.
