In addition to C57BL/6 (H2-Ab), two other strains of mice, BALB/c (H2-Ed) and CBA (H2-Ek), were immunized and assayed. All strains produced significant amounts of anti-epitope antibodies, including IgG1, IgG2a, and IgG2b isotypes in BALB/c mice and IgG2a, IgG2b, and IgG3 isotypes in CBA mice.
