description:	A total of five animals were protected after vaccination with a peptide containing the epitope. Two of the 9 that were challenged without booster injection were protected (5mg dose), and two other animals (0.2mg dose) showed delayed signs of infection, though were not protected. Three of 3 animals given the lower dose (1mg) with booster injection (0.2mg) were protected.
