description:	The epitope, along with other peptides with the consensus sequence P[L/V]LXGT[L/V]P, was selected as a mimotope of the neutral polysaccharide fraction, mainly containing mannan and arabinomannan, of cell-wall antigens of M. tuberculosis. The anti-peptide antisera was able to react with the neutral polysaccharide fraction of cell-wall antigens of M. tuberculosis, which contains mannan and arabinomannan in ELISA and with purified M. tuberculosis lipoarabinomannan in ELISA and Western blot.
