description:	Epitopic determinants identified from Immunofluorescence Assay and Ag-ELISA assays of recombinant mutants of E glycoprotein antigen. Proposed cross-reactive epitope residues in domain II of Flavivirus E-glycoprotein was deduced from sequence variability of 30 flavivirus strains and included the following residues: K64, T76, Q77, G104, G106, L107, E126, T226, W231, H244, and K247. mAb binding using ELISA antigen capture assay of secreted VLPs was also performed. ELISA reciprocal titre in log₁₀ was 5.7 for this monoclonal Ab. Denv-2 Recombinant Antigen used for IFA assay was encoded by a plasmid containing DENV-2 prM and E gene regions.
