| name: |
Synthetic peptides derived from SARS coronavirus S protein with diagnostic and therapeutic potential.
|
| description: |
The sera from peptide-immunized rabbits showed specific binding to the S protein as well as to the S1 fragment of the S protein, while no binding to the S2 fragment occurred. The S protein and its fragments were isolated from E. coli expressed protein. Binding was also observed to the native S protein from the lysates of SARS-CoV infected Vero E6 cells.
