Peptides mimicking Vibrio cholerae O139 capsular polysaccharide elicit protective antibody response.
|
| description: |
This mimotope mimics a peptide in the Vibrio cholerae O139 capsular polysaccharide. The first five (AEGEF) and last four (DPAK) amino acids belong to the pVIII phage library sequence, which is present in the pC89 vector.
The binding response against Vibrio cholerae capsular polysaccharide was evaluated further in a competitive enzyme immunoassay with the peptide-BSA conjugate as the coating antigen and Vibrio cholerae capsular polysaccharide as the inhibitor.
