Similar responses were shown for two additional monoclonal antibodies [1-5D(IgG1) and 2-9D(IgG1)]. Recombinant Ebola virus Reston nucleoprotein was expressed in HeLa cells and served as the antigen in the assay. An immunoblot assay showing binding to GST fusion polypeptides representing amino acids 421-458 of the Ebola Reston nucleoprotein confirmed these results.
