Identification and characterization of B-cell epitopes of IpaC, an invasion-associated protein of Shigella flexneri.
|
| description: |
A competition assay was performed between monoclonal antibodies and sera from convalescent humans and monkeys for binding to invasion plasmid antigen C (IpaC). The increasing binding of the monoclonal antibodies in thepresence of decreasing concentrations of sera from convalescent humans and monkeys indicates that competition occurs and that the epitope recognized by the monoclonal antibody is also recognized by sera from convalescent humans and monkeys.
