name:
Immunogenic structure of the influenza virus hemagglutinin.
description:
The peptide synthesized included a N-terminal tyrosine and a C-terminal cysteine not present in the primary HA sequence. The actual sequence used is YGKVTVSTKRSQQTIIPNVGSRPWVRGLC. The source reported by the authors is X47 reassortant, where the HA molecule is derived from the parent strain Victoria/3/75.
The HA protein was obtained by bromelain cleavage of X47 virus.
