| name: |
An antigenic map of the haemagglutinin of the influenza Hong Kong subtype (H3N2), constructed using mouse monoclonal antibodies.
|
| description: |
These residues are part of the target area A, located at loop region of the HA1 molecule.""""
The possible binding sites (target areas) of a panel of 22 anti-PC73 mAbs was determined by correlation of cross-reactivity of mAbs with sequence differences in variants of the hemagglutinin in heterologous strains of the influenza subtype H3N2. A group of 2 of these antibodies, named group 6, is affected by mutations at the epitopic residues.
