| name: |
Priming immune response to cholera toxin induced by synthetic peptides.
|
| description: |
The inhibition of cholera toxin (CT)-induced cAMP production by rabbit antisera was determined for each peptide following immunization. CTP6-TT was able to prime for a signifcant neutralizing anti-CT immune response as demonstrated by high levels of cross-reacting antibodies and by effective inhibition of CT-induced cAMP by rabbit antisera. A positive response was observed for peptide conjugate prime (1 or 2) followed by CT boost. The carrier-linked peptide by itself did not result in a response.
