In order to test antiviral binding activity, pooled sera from all three strains (BALB/c, C57BL/6 and NIH Swiss) were tested against DEN 2 virus by ELISA. Sera from mice immunized with the peptide 16 bound to the virus. In an antipeptide ELISA (Figure 1), the highest responses to this peptide were observed in NIH-Swiss mice.
