| name: |
Inducing systemic and mucosal immune responses to B-T construct of F1 antigen of Yersinia pestis in microsphere delivery.
|
| description: |
Positive IgG responses were seen against a construct (B4T1) including this B cell epitope linked to by two G residues to a T helper epitope from the same protein F1, in sera from outbred mice immunized with that construct entrapped in a poly-DL-lactide-co-glycolide (PLG) microparticle. The response obtained was similar in the intranasal and intramuscularly immunized mice, both of them with low IgG3 type of response, but the intranasal immunization generated higher IgG2a and b and lower IgG1 types than the intramuscular route. Also, similar responses were obtained by the use of 2 different Thelper epitopes as part of the construct (T1: VNGENLVGDDVVLAT or T2: TGSQDFFVRSIG).
