| name: |
Inducing systemic and mucosal immune responses to B-T construct of F1 antigen of Yersinia pestis in microsphere delivery.
|
| description: |
No mice survived 4 days after intraperitoneal challenge with live Y. pestis 50 days after the primary immunization with a construct (B4T1) including this B cell epitope linked to by two G residues to a T helper epitope from the same protein F1, entrapped in a poly-DL-lactide-co-glycolide (PLG) microparticle, which is the same survival seen in non-immunized mice. The protection afforded by the intranasal route of administration when the Th epitope is T1 is the same as with another Th epitope (T2: TGSQDFFVRSIG) or by intramuscular immunization.
