name:
Mapping of B epitopes in GRA4, a dense granule antigen of Toxoplasma gondii and protection studies using recombinant proteins administered by the oral route.
description:
The authors indicate that the epitope sequence they provided are amino acids 296-345 of GRA4. But in fact, this sequence matches with amino acids 297-345 in the existent SwissProt record of GRA4 (the source protein).
Sera from Toxoplasma gondii-infected humans reacted positively with the epitope (peptide) by ELISA. Truncation analysisdemonstrated recognition of an epitope within residues 334-345.
