| name: |
Molecular recognition of a Salmonella trisaccharide epitope by monoclonal antibody Se155-4.
|
| description: |
The monoclonal antibody SE155-4 reacted in direct and competitive ELISA with synthetic oligosaccharides that contained the epitope. Some antigens tested were analogues of the epitope where substitutions have been made to hydroxyl groups to define the part of the epitope that hydrogen bonds to the paratope on the antibody. The largest part of the binding energy derives from the Abe-Man disaccharide.
