Peptides derived from the unique region of B19 parvovirus minor capsid protein elicit neutralizing antibodies in rabbits.
|
| description: |
Peptides covalently linked to an octabranched lysine matrix core to produce multiple antigenic peptides were used to immunize rabbits. Antisera responses were then examined for neutralization of B19 parvovirus sixteen weeks after initial inoculation. Neutralizing activity of individual antisera were evaluated by erythroid colony assays in which human bone marrow cells are targets of virus infection.
