description:	Overlapping 10 mers were synthesized based on the amino acid sequence of the B. burgdorferi flagellin B31 strain. Reactivity patterns of four representative human serum specimens were evaluated against a panel of overlapping 10-mers spanning the length of the B. burgdorferi flagellin protein. This peptide failed to induce reactivity against immune and control sera.
