description:	Overlapping 10 mers were synthesized based on the amino acid sequence of the B. burgdorferi flagellin B31 strain. Anti-flagellin monoclonal antibodies LA-10 and LA-21 were tested for reactivity against a panel of overlapping 10-mer spanning the length of the B. burgdorferi flagellin protein. These mAbs reacted with the author deduced epitope aa 121-148.
