name:
HCV core immunodominant region analysis using mouse monoclonal antibodies and human sera: characterization of major epitopes useful for antigen detection.
description:
The epitope was recognized by a pool of human sera positive for anti-HCV core protein. The strongest human antibody binding was obtained with peptides spanning residues 73-86, which overlapped with some peptides recognized by mouse MAbs but did not overalp with the optimal peptide.
