description:	Thirty-four overlapping 18mer peptides were synthesized based on the entire sequence of the E1, E2/NS1, NS1 AND NS4 proteins of Hepatits C virus (US clone). Anti-HCV positive sera was used to map antibody binding sites on 4 HCV proteins by screening overlapping 18-mers representing each protein. No reactivity was observed for this E2/NS1 peptide.
