Improved reactivity of hepatitis C virus core protein epitopes in a conformational antigen-presenting system.
|
| description: |
This peptide was found to be highly reactive when assayed alone bound to the solid phase. The peptide was also inserted in a conformation-specific manner on the surface of the Flock House virus (FHV) capsid protein (I2 position). The goal of this sytem is to mimic the native antigenic conformation. Similar reactivity was seen in the FHV capsid, suggesting low conformational requirements for the epitope.
