description:	Cysteine residue is added to the C-terminal of peptide for conjugation to tetanus toxoid. Opsonization activity of antisera against non-homologous isolate/strain was tested. The epitope specific antisera had strong opsonic activity against GAS isolates 2032 and Y504S, weak killing to isolates 2034, Y530S and 2040, but no killing for isolate 88/30.
