description:	Cysteine residue is added to the C-terminal of peptide for conjugation to tetanus toxoid. Opsonization activity of antisera against non-homologous isolate/strain was tested. The epitope specific antisera had moderate opsonic activity against GAS isolates Y530S and 2040, weak killing to isolate BSA10, but no killing for isolates 2032, 88/30 and Y504S.
