description:	Cysteine residue is added to the C-terminal of peptide for conjugation to tetanus toxoid. Opsonization activity of antisera against non-homologous isolate/strain was tested. The epitope specific antisera had strong opsonic activity against GAS isolates Y504S and 2034, weak killing to isolates BSA10, 88/30 and 2040, but no killing for isolate 2032.
