| name: |
T cell recognition of hypervariable region-1 from hepatitis C virus envelope protein with multiple class II MHC molecules in mice and humans: preferential help for induction of antibodies to the hypervariable region.
|
| description: |
Four synthetic peptides were generated to represent homologous sites at residues 390-410 from four different HCV isolates.
Patients responded positively to peptides synthesized to share the sequence of their own HCV isolate. Only patients who showed T helper responses had detectable antibodies binding to their own isolate's sequence (p390-410).
