| name: |
Carbohydrate masking of an antigenic epitope of influenza virus haemagglutinin independent of oligosaccharide size.
|
| description: |
Anti-Dutch peptide sera reacted against both Dutch and Rostock peptides and virions comparably, and vise verse. Greater reactivity was observed for antisera against Dutch virions and anti-Dutch peptide sera against peptides. However, Dutch peptide-specific antiserum reactivated to Dutch haemagglutinin (HA), but failed to recognized HA from Rostock strain on immunoblot due to N-glycosylation.
