name:
ADAM-HCV, a new-concept diagnostic assay for antibodies to hepatitis C virus in serum.
description:
The epitope was identified by subjecting a secondary phage displayed peptide library, generated by mutating clone PA12 expressing the peptide SREQLNKLFGIE, to multiple rounds of panning using HCV-positive human sera. Five of 33 sera from HCV-infected patients reacted with the epitope.
