description:	This 15-mer peptide was derived from the HVR1 of the HCV polyprotein (strain MH5). Seven KLH/BSA conjugated 15-mer HVR1 peptides were tested against HVR1-specific chimeric antibodies (cAb) and standard mAbs for binding affinity. The affinities of cAbs and mAbs (2P24 and 15H4) were similar.
