description:	An internal database accession is provided since the peptide sequence fails to match the sequences found in current GB/SP databases. Immunized monkeys were challenged 20 days after the last peptide boost with i.v. inoculation of 200,000 RBC infected with strain FVO of P. falciparum (100% infective). Protection was defined as the complete absence of parasites in the monkey blood throughout the 15 days following challenge.
