description:	Antiserum from a rabbit immunized with P. knowlesi sporozoites reacted strongly with the epitope. Binding of the antiserum to the immobilized epitope was inhibited by the epitope in solution. The authors conclude the rabbit serum contains antibodies to the epitope.
