name:
Human malaria in immunocompromised mice: an in vivo model to study defense mechanisms against Plasmodium falciparum.
description:
This epitope was derived from the ring erythrocyte surface antigen (RESA) of P. falciparum.
Epitope-specific antibodies affinity-purified from the hyperimmune IgG pool (monospecific) were capable of recognizing the RESA peptide in ELISA format. An N-terminal H was added to the RESA peptide for purpose of column binding.
