description:	No perfect match was found when the sequence was searched in GeneBank and Swiss-Prot. Serum G-6 showed 45% inhibition by the peptide. Similar inhibition was found with serum 6l-I (46%). The binding of the antibodies in all human serum tested was totally inhibited by the recombinant circumsporozoite protein in the fluid phase. Inhibition was considered to be significant when it was equal or greater than 30%.
