| name: |
Induction of neonatal tolerance by plasmid DNA vaccination of mice.
|
| description: |
A panel of 17 peptides spanniong the length of the PyCSP was used to map epitope specificity of antibodies from CS.1/CFA and pCSP immunized mice. Peptide 14 was uniquely recognized by sera from mice immunized with CS.1/CFA. Although no anti-PyCSP response was elicited when mice tolerized as neonates with pCSP were immunized or boosted with that DNA vaccine as adults, neonatally tolerized mice were able to produce IgG anti-PyCSP antibodies when immunized with CS.1 protein emulsified in CFA as adults.
