description:	The circumsporozoite protein contains multiple tandem repeats of the sequence QGPGAP. Epitope-specific mAb NYS1 and sera from mice that received NYS1 in passive transfer reacted with P. yoelii sporozoites in an indirect immunofluorescence assay and in an ELISA. Sera from mice that received NYS1 in passive transfer also reacted with a sporozoite antigen extract in an ELISA.
