| name: |
Development of two monoclonal antibodies against Plasmodium falciparum sporozoite surface protein 2 and mapping of B-cell epitopes.
|
| description: |
From epitope mapping studies with overlapping peptides, it was deduced that a minimal region for mAb recognition is located between residues 206-212.
Three inbred (BALB/c ByJ, A/J, C57BL/6) and one outbred (CD1) strains of mice were immunized with a MAP containing a tandem repeat of 3 copies of CHPSDGKCN, and all develop high titers towards a peptide made of a tandem of 2 copies of it. .
