Towards the design of heterovalent anti-malaria vaccines: a hybrid immunogen capable of eliciting immune responses to epitopes of circumsporozoite antigens from two different species of the malaria parasite, Plasmodium.
|
| description: |
Mice were immunized with CS.T3 joined to R3, and tested against epitope as the antigen. Mice from strains C57Bl/6 and C3H/Pas were also used, and results were similar, but somewhat less positive. The epitope peptide was able able to complete for binding to the immunogen complex of CS.T3-R3.
