Anti-peptide IgG was purified from peptide-immunized rabbits by affinity chromatography. This fraction gives positive staining of P.falciparum-infected erythocytes only in conventional IFA but not on fixed erythrocytes.(membrane IFA). The fraction has ~93% inhibitory activity in merozoite invasion inhibition assay.
