Antisera from mice (two of each B10.BR, Balb/C and Quackenbush strains) immunized with recombinant chimeric NC protein were tested for binding against overlapping octapeptides to identify positive regions. Similar results were obtained with mice (one of each Balb/C and Quackenbush) immunized with recombinant chimeric 1624 malaria vaccine.
