description:	The epitope-specific mAb, was tested for reactivity against a number of octapeptides from FIRA protein, and the antigen used in this assay was the most reactive. The peptides that react with the antibody had a high proportion of S, T or N residues. The addition of a peptide with the STSN sequence was able to almost completely inhibit the reaction.
